Our story

It began with one woman and a full table

Mama Ghita was the mother of Younesse Alami, her youngest son. Her way of cooking, of caring for people and of making room at the table is the foundation of everything that carries her name today.

She did not talk about hospitality. She practised it — every day, quietly, for anyone who arrived. Bread made in the morning. Tea poured before anyone asked. A place laid for the person who might come.

Cook with Younesse

Her youngest son, still cooking her food

Younesse Alami is Mama Ghita’s youngest son. He learned this food in her kitchen and cooks it the same way — filmed step by step, so you can make it in yours.
